On December 31, the Inspection Committee (UBKT) of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee disciplined in the form of a reprimand for Mr. Phan Tat Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Bo Ngoong commune; Mr. Dinh Hong Thuat - Vice Chairman of Al Ba Commune People's Committee; Mr. Pham Van Hoang - Vice Chairman of Chu Se Commune People's Committee, for violating regulations on fostering and updating knowledge and skills.
According to the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Mr. Phan Tat Phuong, Mr. Dinh Hong Thuat and Mr. Pham Van Hoang were exemplary and did not fully comply with the time to attend the training class to update knowledge and skills for commune-level leaders and managers as required by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on training and updating knowledge and skills for commune, ward, and special zone-level leaders and managers.
At the same time, violating the Working Regulations of the Party Committee Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee (where they are working) and the Regulations of the Politburo on the regime of fostering and updating knowledge and skills for leaders and managers at all levels.
The violations of these 3 gentlemen have caused bad public opinion, affecting the prestige of themselves and agencies, organizations, and localities where they are living and working.
As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, on August 29, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics issued document No. 1754 to the Standing Committees of Provincial and City Party Committees directly under the Central Government on organizing training classes to update knowledge and skills for leaders and managers of communes, wards, and special zones.
The class takes place from September 6 to 8 in direct form at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and online with all commune, ward, and special zone locations across the country. Participants include Secretary, Deputy Secretary; Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Council; Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, and leaders of some commune-level agencies and units.
However, Mr. Phan Tat Phuong is suspected of not participating in this training class but participating in the "Pickleball Dance of Love U90+" tournament held on September 7 at a sports field in Chu Se commune (Gia Lai).
Some images provided by people show the presence of Mr. Phuong at the "U90+ Love Pickleball Dance" tournament coinciding with the time of the training class.
After that, Ms. M - the organizer of the tournament - confirmed to Lao Dong reporter: Mr. Phuong and his wife came to participate in the "U90+ Love Pickleball Dance" tournament, but the time Mr. Phuong started the match was near noon.
Mr. Phuong only played 1-2 matches and then rushed home, not having time for lunch even though the field had prepared rice. Mr. Phuong left at about 12 o'clock," Ms. M said.
Immediately after receiving feedback, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee intervened to inspect signs of violations related to the case of Mr. Phuong being suspected of not participating in the cadre training class, but participating in the Pickleball tournament.
