On May 18, 2025, the Prime Minister signed a decision to appoint Admiral Le Ba Quan - Commander of Region 2 to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Navy Army. Colonel Nguyen Van Quan - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Region 2 was signed by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of Defense to appoint the position of Commander of Region 2 Navy.
Speaking at the conference, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Region acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements that Navy Region 2 has achieved in recent years, clearly affirming the capacity, responsibility and efforts of the Party Committee, the Region Command and the leaders.
