On the afternoon of May 28, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu chaired a working session with the Central Inspection Committee on the results of inspection and supervision work in the first 5 months of the year and orientations and tasks in the coming time.
Attending the working session were Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh; members of the Party Central Committee; representatives of leaders of central Party committees.
Inspecting key, sensitive, and complex areas prone to violations
Concluding the working session, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized the requirement to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Resolution No. 2 of the Central Committee on renovating and improving the effectiveness of inspection, supervision and discipline of the Party; Party regulations on inspection and supervision work, especially newly issued regulations and directives of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen direction, guidance, and improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of inspection and supervision work of Party committees and inspection committees at all levels, especially at the commune, ward, and special zone levels.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat also requested to proactively and promptly advise on the good implementation of tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena and the direction of the General Secretary and President, especially the work of advising on building and completing documents and regulations on inspection and supervision to ensure quality and on schedule.
In addition, it is necessary to focus on advising on completing the content of inspection and supervision of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2026 to ensure the set goals and requirements. Implement the tasks assigned by the Steering Committee to summarize 1 year of operation of the local government apparatus at 2 levels to ensure quality.

The Standing Committee of the Secretariat requests the comprehensive and effective implementation of tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter and tasks assigned by the Party Committee, focusing on inspection when there are signs of violations. Focus on inspecting urgent issues according to task requirements and practices; key, sensitive, complex areas that are prone to violations.
At the same time, promptly inspect and resolutely handle party organizations and party members showing signs of degradation in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; violating the principles and regulations of the Party, the laws of the State, things that party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, corruption, wastefulness, negativity, and group interests.
Monitor from the beginning and throughout
Emphasizing the requirement to promote supervision, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat proposed to implement supervision from the beginning and throughout for Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions, and decisions of the Central Government, strategic resolutions of the Politburo, and directing opinions of the General Secretary and President.
