According to the Central Inspection Commission's Electronic Information Portal, the Emulation and Reward Council of the Central Inspection Commission is collecting public opinions on individuals proposed for consideration and awarding the Labor Medal (HCLD).
This is implemented in Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP, dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation.
Individuals include:
1. Former Deputy Director of the Department of Land Affairs VII Dao Xuan Ngoc; held the position of Deputy Director for 20 years and 1 month, proposed to consider and award the Second Class Medal for "continuous participation in the resistance war against American imperialism or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the positions of... Deputy Director and equivalent for 15 years or more".
2. Deputy Director of the Department of Area VI Nguyen Ngoc Son; has held the position of Deputy Director for 16 years and 6 months, proposed to consider and award the Second Class Medal for "continuous participation in the resistance war against American imperialism or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the following positions: ... Deputy Director and equivalent for 15 years or more".
3. Deputy Director of the Department of Area I Le Quang Thuan; having held the position of Deputy Director for 15 years and 00 months, proposed to consider and award the Second Class Medal for "continuous participation in the resistance war against American imperialism or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the following positions: ... Deputy Director and equivalent for 15 years or more".
4. Former Deputy Director of the Department of Area II Ha Chi Tuyen; having held the position of Deputy Director for 13 years and 3 months (including 1 year and 2 months according to Decree 178), proposed to consider and award the Third Class Medal "for continuous participation in the resistance war against the American empire or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the following positions: ... Deputy Director and equivalent from 10 years to less than 15 years".
5. Deputy Director of the Department of Area II Nguyen Van Nhu; having held the position of Deputy Director for 10 years and 11 months (including 11 months according to Decree 178), proposed to consider and award the Third Class Medal "for continuous participation in the resistance war against the US Imperialists or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the following positions: ... Deputy Director and equivalent from 10 years to less than 15 years".
6. Former Deputy Director of the Department of Area II Pham Van Duc; having held the position of Deputy Director for 10 years and 7 months (including 1 year and 11 months according to Decree 178), proposed to consider and award the Third Class Medal "for continuous participation in the resistance war against the US Imperialists or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the positions of... Deputy Director and equivalent from 10 years to less than 15 years".
7. Former Deputy Director of the Department of Area Affairs VII Cao Van Hoc; having held the position of Deputy Director for 10 years and 1 month (including 02 months according to Decree 178), proposed to consider and award the Third Class Medal "for continuous participation in activities in the resistance war against the US Imperialists or in building and defending the Fatherland, having held one of the following positions: ... Deputy Director and equivalent from 10 years to less than 15 years".
