According to WWD on November 4, Prada continues to "attack" the Korean and Asian markets by adding actor Byeon Woo Seok to its list of brand ambassadors.
Prada's Twitter and Instagram social media accounts also officially announced Byeon Woo Seok as the new ambassador.
The Italian luxury brand has snapped up the 33-year-old actor just as he is about to have a breakthrough in his career.
Byeon Woo Seok rose to fame for his leading role as Ryu Sun Jae in the tvN time-travel drama “Lovely Runner,” which aired in April this year. He currently has 11.4 million followers on Instagram alone.
Byeon Woo Seok attended Prada's show for the first time at Milan Men's Fashion Week Spring Summer 2025, in June this year.
He wore a simple outfit consisting of a long-sleeved sweater combined with dress pants, with a white belt as an accent. His height of 1.9m and handsome face made the actor stand out in the crowd.
Byeon Woo Seok was a fashion model before becoming an actor, so he has an advantage in appearance. After “Lovely Runner”, Byeon Woo Seok was sought after by brands in many fields, but Prada is the first international luxury fashion brand to choose the actor as an ambassador.
Byeon Woo Seok joins the ranks of Prada ambassadors alongside many Korean and Kpop stars such as Jaehyun (NCT), Kim Tae Ri, Jeon Somi, Song Kang, group ENHYPEN, Sana (TWICE) and most recently Karina (aespa).
