PVI Insurance has just been announced to be nominated for the final round of the "General Insurance Company of the Year" category - Non-Life Insurance Enterprise of the Year at the Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) 2026. Notably, the Vietnamese representative is in the same group with many major insurance brands in the region such as MSIG Singapore and Allianz Ayudhya.
Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2026 recorded nearly 185 applications in 16 categories, of which only 49 organizations and individuals were selected for the final round, showing the high competitiveness of one of the leading prestigious awards in the Asian insurance industry.
According to the announced list, the nominations for the "General Insurance Company of the Year" category this year include PVI Insurance and many notable names in the non-life insurance industry in the region such as MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd of MS&AD Insurance Group and Allianz Ayudhya of Allianz Group.
In other categories of the award, there is also the participation of many major brands in the Asian insurance and reinsurance industry such as AIA, HSBC Life, Fubon Life, Munich Re, RGA or Allianz Asia Pacific. Being in the same final group with these names shows that PVI Insurance is increasingly affirming its competitiveness and position as a Vietnamese insurance company in the international arena.
Two consecutive years present in the leading group
This is the second consecutive year that PVI Insurance has advanced deeply in the same category after entering the Top 3 in 2025. The continuous presence in the final group shows that PVI Insurance is maintaining a remarkable position in the group of prominent non-life insurance companies in Asia, in the context of increasingly comprehensive assessment criteria and high competitiveness.
Asia Insurance Industry Awards is organized by Asia Insurance Review and 2026 marks its 30th season. Over three decades, AIIA has become one of the most prestigious specialized award systems in the region, with the participation of insurance, reinsurance, brokerage and financial service organizations in many Asian markets.
AIIA's categories evaluate businesses and individuals in many aspects, from operating efficiency, management capacity, innovation, service quality to contributions to the industry and community. In which, "General Insurance Company of the Year" is a category for non-life insurance companies with outstanding achievements and comprehensive development capacity.
From a solid position in the country to an increasingly clear mark on the Asian insurance map
The results at AIIA 2026 are based on the solid development foundation that PVI Insurance has built over many years. The enterprise currently holds the leading position in the Vietnamese non-life insurance market in terms of market share, and also possesses strengths in many fields that require high professional capacity and risk management such as energy, maritime, asset - technology, liability, motor vehicles, human resources and large-scale insurance programs.
In parallel with business operations, PVI Insurance continues to invest in technology, data, standardize exploitation - compensation processes and improve customer experience. These are important factors to help businesses strengthen domestic competitiveness and gradually approach regional market operating standards.
From Top 3 in 2025 to the final in 2026, PVI Insurance continues to maintain its presence in one of the important categories of the Asia Insurance Industry Awards. In particular, being in the same list with brands such as MSIG Singapore and Allianz Ayudhya shows that a Vietnamese insurance company is increasingly having a clearer position when placed in relation to major names in the region.
The final results of the 30th Asia Insurance Industry Awards will be announced in the near future. Continuing to participate in the final evaluation round is an opportunity for PVI Insurance to take another step in its journey to enhance brand recognition and affirm the competitiveness of Vietnamese insurance businesses in the Asian market.
