In Ho Chi Minh City, Global Nutrition Group Danone and the Vietnam Pediatrics Association organized the 2026 National Science Conference with the theme: "New Trend Synbiotic & Primary Nutrition Supports Immunity, Brain and Comprehensive Development in Young Children".

In the context of the increasing rate of cesarean sections in Vietnam, establishing an immune foundation for children from the beginning of life becomes a major concern. At the conference, experts emphasized the role of the gut microbiome system in children's long-term health, along with new scientific evidence of specialized Synbiotic. Associate Professor Amber Chiou (Future Food Research Institute, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) shared: "Cesarean section babies have Cesarean babies have a different gut microbiome structure than normal babies, especially the lower amount of Bifidobacteria beneficial bacteria. The formula containing specially formulated Synbiotic helps support the establishment of the gut microbiome in a more favorable direction, promotes the development of beneficial bacteria and helps regulate immune response. As a result, the gut microbiome of cesarean section babies tends to develop closer to normal babies, contributing to creating a foundation for a healthy immune system.
The conference affirmed the long-term commitment of Danone and the Vietnam Pediatrics Association to improve the quality of child health care, bringing nutritional solutions based on scientific evidence, accompanying Vietnamese families on the journey to bring a healthy start, full of love.
