What should customers do if they discover incorrect credit information?

Thiên Bình |

Here are the steps to take when customers discover incorrect credit information.

Step 1: Register an account and check your credit information yourself at the National Credit Information Center of Vietnam (CIC) via the smartphone application (iCIC/CIC Credit Connect) or website https://cic.gov.vn.

Step 2: If the information is found to be incorrect, the customer should report to CIC via Call Center 1800585891 or the "Claims/ replies" section on the website: https://cic.gov.vn (send supporting documents):

If there is an error in data processing, CIC is responsible for adjusting the error and notifying the customer of the result.

If the data at CIC is correct, CIC will request the credit institution to check and verify the information.

After verifying the information, the credit institution will send a specific response to CIC and propose data adjustment (if necessary).

CIC will base on the results of the feedback from the credit institution, process and notify the customers of the results.
