The working delegation of the National Credit Information Center of Vietnam (CIC), led by Mr. Cao Van Binh, Chairman of CIC, fully participated in all events within the framework of the Conference (ACRN 5 Conference, ACRN Member Group Meeting and sideline events including discussions, bilateral and multilateral working sessions between members).
This conference with the theme "orienting the future of TTTD reporting to promote comprehensive finance and stabilize the financial market" is part of the first series of activities of the Network in 2025. The conference gathered about 200 delegates including experts in the field of credit institutions, credit scoring, scholars and representatives from credit institutions of member countries (November 8), observers of the Network and State management agencies in the field of credit reporting. This is an opportunity for delegates to discuss the latest trends in the field of TTTD activities in the world, in the region and in the member countries of the Network.
At the Conference, presentations focused on the impacts of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and alternative data sources on reporting to TTTD. The conference also mentioned important issues such as data privacy, network security and the role of credit reporting in supporting entities in the economy to access credit more easily, quickly and conveniently.
Speakers focused on emphasizing the importance of promoting cooperation and innovation to enhance financial inclusion and maintain stability in the region's diverse economies. Delegates shared the best methods and discussed potential solutions to address challenges caused by rapidly changing financial context. The conference also emphasized the need for TTTD reporting systems to update and apply new trends in the field of TTTD to the collection, processing, creation and development of products and services in line with the general trend of the digital revolution and digital economy to create better conditions for responsible lending activities and promote sustainable economic growth.
The 2025 ACRN Annual Member Group Meeting, chaired by Mr. Cao Van Binh - Chairman of the Network, focused on listening to members' updates on new points in credit information activities, operational issues and legal frameworks related to credit information activities in countries.
In addition, he also contributed to providing strategic orientations related to the overall operation of the network. Under his chairmanship, the members reviewed and proposed a number of activities to complete ACRN's operational plan in the coming time, including outlining key initiatives to enhance cooperation and knowledge sharing in the network. The discussions focused on enhancing cross-border data exchanges, promoting comprehensive finance for foreign workers and perfecting ACRN's general management and operation to participate more actively and effectively in organizing events on the sidelines of the 2025 APEC Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum in Korea.
On the sidelines of the Conference and the Member Group Meeting, the Vietnamese delegation attended events to discuss and seek opportunities for bilateral cooperation with partners such as the Cambodia Information and Communications Agency (CBC), AIForsee Technology Company (Indonesia) on issues related to cross-border information sharing with Korean partners to support workers going abroad, collecting and processing alternative data to include in credit scoring models...
The 5th ACRN Conference and the series of sideline events are not only a commercial success but also a clear demonstration of the solidarity and common commitment of members in expanding the network, promoting solidarity and seeking cooperation opportunities, and developing the profession of member organizations. The 6th ACRN Conference in 2026 is expected to be held in Nepal.
