The delegation included Deputy General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) Le Xuan Huyen, representatives of specialized departments/Group Offices, and leaders of BSR and PTSC units.
During the working trip, Petrovietnam General Director Le Ngoc Son met with senior leaders of Saudi Aramco to discuss the next implementation plan of the Framework Agreement signed between Saudi Aramco and Petrovietnam on cooperation in the field of oil and gas trade on the occasion of the official visit of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Saudi Arabia in late October 2024.
Saudi Aramco is one of the world's largest oil and gas companies. The signing of the Framework Agreement with Saudi Aramco has laid the foundation for cooperation between the two parties across the oil and gas value chain, including activities such as storage, supply and trading of energy products and petrochemicals.
At the same time, it opens up opportunities for extensive cooperation between Petrovietnam and Saudi Aramco, contributing to enhancing energy security and promoting economic relations between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia.
The business trip of General Director Le Ngoc Son and the delegation was a great success, achieving the set goals and was highly appreciated by the partners.
The active and responsible participation of the working delegation under the program has contributed to strengthening the relationship between Petrovietnam and Saudi Aramco, as well as contributing to actively promoting the relationship between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia in general.
