
With the spirit of mutual love and the mission "For a better life for everyone", since returning to her hometown, Vingroup has proactively participated in charity - social work with a total disbursed budget of 30,000 billion VND.
Of which, nearly VND15,000 billion was disbursed through the Thien Tam Fund (established on October 3, 2006), for over 50 programs in 34/34 provinces and cities. After 19 years of operation, Thien Tam Fund has become the largest private charity organization with scale and influence in Vietnam.

The fund not only actively participates in most of the country's volunteer areas such as: gratitude, social security and poverty reduction, culture, education, health, transportation, agriculture, environment, natural disaster prevention and overcoming, epidemics, community development... but also pioneers in accompanying and creating livelihoods for millions of people across the country.

Specifically, in the field of gratitude and social security, the Fund has cared for nearly 1,000 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, former youth volunteers, victims of Agent Orange; supported living expenses for more than 1,200 children orphaned by COVID-19 and more than 1,000 single and disabled people; supported more than 50 charitable facilities monthly that are caring for and raising orphans, disabled people, lonely elderly people, and homeless people; accompanied volunteer groups to organize free cooking and meals at many hospitals nationwide. In particular, every Tet holiday, the Fund regularly gives hundreds of thousands of gifts to policy families and poor households to express gratitude and share.
In the Housing and Infrastructure sector, the Fund has donated nearly 27,000 houses of gratitude and love to temporary houses; completed nearly 500 civil works, including 335 schools, boarding houses, 400 km of roads, 10 bridges and 90 clean water projects, paving the way for sustainable changes in the community.
Not only gratitude and sharing, the Fund also pioneers in creating sustainable livelihoods to escape poverty through selected and unused banks, modernizing agriculture and creating jobs for people. Specifically, the Fund has donated 25,000 breeding cows, thousands of machines, vehicles, plants and breeding animals, helping more than 11,000 households escape poverty; creating jobs for tens of thousands of poor households through local programs.
In particular, the Fund has taken the lead in applying high technology to agricultural projects such as the HDPE offshore marine cage model; Israel's smart irrigation system improves nutrients for water hyacinth plants... not only increasing income for fishermen and farmers but also contributing to improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.
In the health sector, over the past 19 years, the Fund has sponsored thousands of billions of VND to take care of people's health, provide free medical examinations and surgeries for 7 million people, support operating costs for the network of 1,200 midwives in remote areas, and donated 1,000 billion VND to upgrade the out-of-hospital emergency system, donating over 26,000 units of blood each year. The fund also focuses on training personnel in the health sector such as training 530 doctors in mountainous and island areas, sponsoring funding for non-communicable disease screening in dozens of localities across the country, contributing to improving the quality of people's health.

In the field of Education, the Fund has awarded 90,000 scholarships to support schools for poor and studious students, 16,200 computers to nearly 1,000 schools, opening the door to knowledge and creating opportunities to change the lives of thousands of young people across the country.
In addition to long-term programs, Thien Tam Fund is always a pioneer force present to support natural disasters and emergency epidemics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fund has spent VND7,500 billion on epidemic prevention; provided tens of thousands of tons of necessities and medical equipment and supported hundreds of billions of VND to localities severely affected.
With the recent super typhoon Yagi, the Fund has supported 250 billion VND in cash for people in storm-affected areas, reconstructed 13 civil works and deployed emergency relief, helping to stabilize life and restore production.

In particular, the event series "Gieo Mang Thien Tam" has called for an additional 22 billion VND from businesses and individuals, contributing to the construction of 2 schools in Lao Cai, bringing better learning conditions to 800 students in mountainous areas.

The awarding of the First Class Labor Medal to Thien Tam Fund at a special occasion to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day and the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of Vingroup Corporation (August 8, 1993 - August 8, 2025) is a recognition and encouragement from the State and the People for pioneering organizations committed to the community like Vingroup.
