Foreign Trade Bank Limited Digital Technology, formerly Construction Bank, officially introduced a new brand recognition system named VCBNeo, a completely new NeoOne digital banking application and a website under the domain name vcbneo.com.vn.
This is an important step in the successful implementation strategy, completing the mandatory transfer plan soon after being officially transferred to Vietcombank. VCBNeo is positioned as a digital technology bank in the ecosystem of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank, VCB) and has made an important contribution to the implementation of comprehensive financial goals and tasks.
Identifying a new brand
With the slogan "Digital For All" (Digital Technology for Everyone), the new VCBNeo logo is inherited the symbol and characteristic green color from Vietcombank - a banking brand with a history of over 60 years with top reputation and operational efficiency in Vietnam. The word "Neo" in the VCBNeo logo is an acronym for "New Electronic Omnichannel" with three core values: New - Innovation, innovation; Electronic - Digital Technology; Omnichannel - Multi-channel synchronization.
The design of the brand identification cluster "VCBNeo" with characters can also be reversed to "OneVCB" - affirming VCBNeo as a member of the Vietcombank ecosystem and showing VCBNeo's great determination in the goal of soon breaking through to become a digital technology bank, effectively contributing to Vietcombank's overall strategy and vision of "OneVCB".
According to VCBNeo representative, the identification of the new brand is not only an innovation in terms of image but also affirms a strategic step forward in VCBNeo's "digital technology" journey with the commitment to providing optimal and flexible financial services, while improving customer experience by focusing on developing digital banking with outstanding utilities, helping customers transact quickly and safely.
With the orientation of expanding Vietcombank's sustainable ecosystem in Vietnam, VCBNeo aims to approach to serve the entire group of "new to bank" customers - those who have not yet accessed banking services or have limited access and will strive to accompany customers on the development path.

Along with the new brand recognition, VCBNeo introduces a completely new digital banking application called NeoOne.
The NeoOne app was built and completed in just 5 months, while the average time to develop a digital banking app takes about 15 months.
VCBNeo representative shared: "We have received support from hundreds of experienced staff from Vietcombank to rebuild processes at VCBNeo. In particular, the conversion of the core banking system and the entire technology system, along with the completely new version of the app - a huge challenge, which usually takes 2 to 3 years - has been completed by us in less than 6 months".
NeoOne is a digital banking application for individual customers, operating on devices using iOS and Android operating systems, replacing the old banking application (CBway application). The NeoOne application fully integrates important financial transaction features such as: Quick money transfer 24/7; QR payment; Open an online savings account with competitive interest rates; Personal financial management... The application will continuously be supplemented with new features in the next updates.
In fact, in the process of "comprehensive innovation", the entire core banking system (corebanking) and VCBNeo's technology system are transferred and applied according to the highest standards from Vietcombank. In addition to ensuring high safety and security, the system helps develop and diversify products and services provided to customers, especially products and services on digital platforms.
Along with the announcement of NeoOne digital banking brand identity and application, 92 transaction points of VCBNeo have been upgraded with a new look, combining digital experience and in-person services, creating resonance power to serve customers comprehensively.
