Vietcombank donated 500 million VND at the program "Nghĩa tình Phương Nam - Cùng con đi tiếp cuộc đời" in 2026, adding resources to support disadvantaged children.

On September 16, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, the political art program "Nghĩa tình Phương Nam - Cùng con đi tiếp cuộc đời" in 2026 was organized, marking the 5-year journey of the program "Cùng con đi tiếp cuộc đời" accompanying and sponsoring orphaned children due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program "Nghĩa tình Phương Nam - Cùng con đi tiếp cuộc đời" in 2026, co-organized by the Southern Vietnam Television Center (VTV Nam Bo) and Thanh Nien Newspaper, continues the humanitarian journey of the programs "Nghĩa tình Phương Nam" and "Cùng con đi tiếp cuộc đời", aiming to support and accompany orphaned children and children in difficult circumstances on their journey of studying and growing up.

Attending the program, representatives of Vietcombank's Board of Directors, Mr. Dang Hoai Duc - Deputy General Director of Vietcombank, presented 500 million VND to support the program, contributing to adding resources to care for and support disadvantaged children.

Launched on September 16, 2021, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic causing losses to many families, the program "Joining children to continue life" initiated by Thanh Nien Newspaper has connected organizations, businesses, sponsors and compassionate hearts to accompany and sponsor orphaned children whose father or mother died due to the pandemic until the age of 18.

After 5 years, the program has provided emergency support, visits, and presented money and gifts to more than 2,200 turns of orphans in Ho Chi Minh City and some southern provinces and cities; sponsored until the age of 18 for 550 turns of children with a total budget of more than 60.8 billion VND, and awarded scholarships and training support to children after completing high school.

In 2026, "Nghĩa tình Phương Nam" of VTV Nam Bộ will accompany "Cùng con đi tiếp cuộc đời" of Thanh Niên Newspaper, expanding long-term sponsorship activities to orphans due to many causes such as natural disasters, storms, floods, traffic accidents, diseases... Through this, the program aims to connect more social resources, creating a support for children to continue studying and growing up.

Through accompanying the program, Vietcombank continues to promote the spirit of community approach, joining hands with social organizations and philanthropists to spread human values, contributing to bringing more learning opportunities, development and a better future for children in difficult circumstances.
