On the evening of December 14, the Human Act Prize 2024 Award Ceremony took place in Hanoi, honoring 31 outstanding projects and ideas that have been inspiring contributions to the community.
Notably, among the 5 projects honored as excellent - the most important award category at the Human Act Prize 2024 - the project "VinFast electric cars and electric motorbikes" was one of the names announced in the loud applause of those who directly watched.
According to the representative of the organizing committee, in the context of the world joining hands towards the goal of protecting the environment and reducing emissions, VinFast has taken pioneering steps in producing electric cars in Vietnam.
VinFast's electric vehicle project is highly appreciated for focusing on solving two difficult problems of Vietnam's transportation: Air pollution and Dependence on fossil fuels. By developing advanced electric vehicles with wide accessibility, VinFast has been contributing to changing awareness, directing consumers to use clean energy and environmentally friendly vehicles.
In addition, the jury highly appreciated the significance of the VinFast electric vehicle project because the widespread coverage of charging stations along with reasonably priced car models has created a strong push, promoting the rapid development of the Vietnamese electric vehicle market.
“With continuous efforts, VinFast has gradually affirmed its position in the international arena, bringing “Made in Vietnam” products to global consumers, contributing to realizing the goal of sustainable development, in line with the trend of greening the global economy” - Human Act Prize 2024 Organizing Committee assessed VinFast.
On many forums, many members have sent their best wishes to VinFast for the worthy contributions of the Vietnamese car company to the community.
On a large forum about life perspectives, member Tran Minh Chien admitted that the value of VinFast electric cars does not stop at being a means of transportation but is creating changes to the lives of millions of people. “We are living in terrible environmental conditions. If there are no comprehensive changes, starting with changing travel habits, our children will have to suffer consequences hundreds, thousands of times more serious than now,” said Mr. Chien.
In fact, according to him, positive changes are taking place in society, especially when the Vietnamese car company has achieved the number 1 market share in Vietnam in just a few short years. The Vietnamese car company does not simply bring a green choice, but more importantly, VinFast removes barriers to green vehicles for millions of people, from affordable car models with superior quality compared to other models in the same segment, to excellent after-sales policies and especially a widespread electric vehicle ecosystem.
More broadly, as an expert in the field of sustainable development commented, VinFast is a worthy factor because the Vietnamese brand is truly "committed to the community". "VinFast and Vietnamese electric vehicles are leading the flow, creating momentum for Vietnam to make changes in a greener, more sustainable direction" - the expert said.
The Human Act Prize 2024 has the theme "Creating Community" with the meaning of promoting the spread and connection in community activities, not only honoring excellent initiatives but also encouraging the replication of effective models.
