Silver buyers have to wait more than 4 months to receive the goods
Lao Dong reporter's record on February 3rd, the price of silver bars and silver ingots in the country was adjusted up compared to yesterday's trading session. Many people came to silver business stores in Hanoi to buy.
At a silver business on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi), Ms. Do Quynh Huong (Hai Ba Trung ward) said that today she came to receive 10 taels of silver that she ordered from the end of last year, according to the store's payment schedule at the beginning of February 2026.
According to Ms. Huong, currently the store only sells a limited quantity of silver. Each customer is allowed to buy a maximum of 1kg of silver and the delivery time is the end of June 2026. "I am also waiting to register to buy an additional 5 taels of silver and continue to wait for the appointment" - Ms. Huong shared.
Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Van Duong (Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi) said that last month he ordered 1kg of silver and today returned to buy more.
Today, the store continues to apply the limit on the amount of silver sold as in previous days. Employees announced that each customer can buy a maximum of 1kg. Because the supply has not kept up with demand, customers cannot receive goods immediately but have to wait until June 24, 2026 according to the announcement from the store staff" - Mr. Duong said.
Mr. Duong added that each purchase invoice needs to be paid 100% of the order value. "If customers have a need to sell during the waiting time to receive silver, they will have to sell all the silver purchased on the invoice, not separated. The buying - selling price will be the listed price at the store according to the transaction time" - Mr. Duong said.
Silver price update
As of 12:15 PM on February 3rd, the price of silver bars 2024 Ancarat 999 (1 tael) at Ancarat Gem Company was listed at 3.136 - 3.213 million VND/tael (buying - selling); an increase of 151,000 VND/tael on the buying side and an increase of 155,000 VND/tael on the selling side compared to yesterday morning.
The price of 2025 Ancarat 999 (1kg) silver ingots at Ancarat Gem Company is listed at 82.670 - 85.180 million VND/kg (buying - selling).
The price of Kim Phuc Loc 999 silver bars (1 tael) of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Company Limited (Sacombank-SBJ) is listed at the threshold of 3.288 - 3.405 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
At the same time, the price of 999 silver bars (1 tael) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group was listed at the threshold of 3.132 - 3.229 million VND/tael (buying - selling); an increase of 146,000 VND/tael on the buying side and an increase of 151,000 VND/tael on the selling side compared to yesterday morning.
The price of 999 silver ingots (1kg) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group is listed at 83.519 - 86.106 million VND/kg (buying - selling).
On the world market, as of 12:20 PM on February 3rd (Vietnam time), the world silver price was listed at 83.51 USD/ounce; up 5.65 USD compared to yesterday morning.
