According to information from the Ministry of Finance, the UPCoM floor in February 2025 will trade positively again after falling sharply in January. The UPCoM Index closed the end of the month trading session at 99.58 points, up 5.6% compared to the end of the previous month.
Along with the excitement in the listed stock market, UPCoM also had positive developments with an average trading volume increasing by 49% compared to January, reaching more than 69.34 million shares/session, the average trading value increasing by 39.53%, reaching more than VND 943.39 billion/session, the highest level in the past 7 months. The trading session on February 17, 2025 recorded the highest trading volume and trading value of the month, corresponding to 94.68 million shares and VND 1,352 billion.
In terms of liquidity, HNG shares of Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agricultural Joint Stock Company, although trading volume decreased by 38% compared to the previous month, are still the most traded shares on UPCoM with 113.27 million shares, accounting for 8.17% of the entire market.
Next are AAH shares of Hop Nhat Joint Stock Company with trading volume reaching more than 100 million shares, accounting for 7.21%.
BVB shares of Ban Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank ranked third with a ratio of 6.92%, corresponding to a trading volume of more than 95.96 million shares.
Regarding trading prices, the strongest price increase in February 2025 is the YBC stock code of Yen Bai Cement and Mineral Joint Stock Company with a closing price of VND 20,600, up 198,55% compared to the previous month.
Next is the TNV of Thong Nhat Hanoi Joint Stock Company with the closing price reaching VND 22,400, up 151.69%.
In the group of strongest price increases, there are also VES of Me Ca Vneco Power Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, DNM of DANAMECO Medical Joint Stock Corporation, MGC of Mining Geology Joint Stock Company - TKV.
The trading value of foreign investors on UPCoM increased slightly (4.36%) compared to the previous month, however, foreign investors continued the net selling trend with a value of more than VND 339 billion, of which the selling value was VND 656 billion, buying more than VND 317 billion. The stock most bought by foreign investors continues to be HNG of Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agricultural Joint Stock Company with a trading volume of more than 1.57 million shares (accounting for 12.55%), followed by KLB shares of Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank with a trading volume of more than 1.41 million shares (reaching a ratio of 11.28%).
In the selling direction, DDV of DAP - VINACHEM JSC is the stock sold the most by foreign investors with a trading volume of more than 2.61 million shares, accounting for 15.05%, followed by QNS stock code of Duong Quang Ngai JSC with a selling volume of more than 2.26 million shares, equivalent to a proportion of 13.03% of the total market trading volume.
The self-employed sector of securities companies had a total trading value of more than 206.68 billion VND, up 16.11% over the previous month, in which securities companies reversed net selling after 5 consecutive months of net buying on UPCoM with a trading value of 94.48 billion VND and selling 112.19 billion VND, net selling 17.71 billion VND.
The UPCoM market in February welcomed 2 more enterprises registering for new transactions, bringing the total number of enterprises to 888, with a total registered transaction value of more than 473 trillion VND. The market capitalization value as of February 28, 2025 reached more than VND 1,488 trillion, down 3.99% compared to the previous month.
