On August 19, the Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to upgrade and expand DT 748 road, from the intersection of Phu Thu intersection to My Phuoc Town North Ring Road Phase 1 (investment from the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 to the intersection of An Dien intersection).
The Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the project was approved with a total investment of VND 3,143 billion. Of which, the construction cost is about 463 billion VND, the site clearance cost is about 2,284 billion VND.

Phase 1 invests from the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 intersection to the An Dien intersection with a length of about 5 km. The cross-section of the road is 38m, with 6 lanes built. The Ong Ky Bridge section will build a spans of the bridge, nearly 26m long and 38m wide. This section of the road will be invested in the completion of the drainage system and lighting trees.
Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that the route connects with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 and Ho Chi Minh City's logistics centers. This project will shorten travel time, reduce transportation costs for people and businesses.

Compensation of VND 1,891 billion has been paid
According to the Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project must clear 1,571 documents with an area of 35 hectares. Currently, the announcement of land recovery, measurement and inventory has reached 100%. Notably, compensation has been paid 1,891 billion VND, reaching 98% of the approved amount. Currently, 557 documents with 14.1 hectares of land have been handed over.
