Recorded by Lao Dong reporter on October 16, domestic silver prices continued to increase sharply. At some silver shops in Hanoi, people's demand for silver is increasing. This has caused many stores to be overloaded, limiting the amount of silver sold or temporarily suspending transactions.

At the Ancarat silver gold shop on Xa Dan street (Dong Da district, Hanoi), Ms. Bui Thi Mai (Bach Mai ward, Hanoi) said she had been present since 7:30 a.m. to queue up to buy silver.
"I arrived at 7:30 am. At around 8:30 a.m., the staff announced that each person could only buy a maximum of 5kg. About half an hour later, the goods were out of stock, many people who came later had to return" - Ms. Mai said.
Ms. Mai said that because she did not have enough silver to buy, she would continue to wait in line the next day.

Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Huu Long (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi) wanted to buy silver but had not been able to buy it for many days.
"I have been at this silver shop for many days now, one day the staff announced a temporary suspension of sales, the other day the stall was out of stock. This morning, I arrived at 9:10 and the store had reported that it was out of stock. Maybe I will come earlier tomorrow" - Mr. Long said.
Regarding the reason for limiting the quantity sold, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - an employee of a gold and silver shop on Xa Dan Street (Hanoi) said: "In recent days, the supply of silver in the world market has been scarce, so the company only has a certain quantity to sell every day. Exploitation, processing and production have not been able to meet the sudden increase in demand, causing frequent out of stock".
Recorded at Phu Quy gold and silver shop on Cau Giay Street (Hanoi), the shop was also out of stock due to high demand, beyond the ability to supply during the day.

Mr. Pham Tuan Anh (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) said: "Today, I went to the store to receive the money I had bought in advance. I also want to buy a few more kilos but the staff informed me that they were out of stock".
