The working groups led by key leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chuyen My commune directly visited and presented gifts to dozens of families of war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area.
Not just an annual activity, the visits have become an opportunity to connect, share, and express the deep gratitude of the government to those who have contributed to making peace and independence today.
Leading the working group No. 1, Comrade Le Quang Long - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, Comrade Nguyen Huu Chi - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune and leaders of the People's Committee of the commune, leaders of the Department of Culture - Society, Office of the People's Council - People's Committee of the commune directly visited and presented gifts to 7 exemplary policy families.
At the destinations, comrade Le Quang Long affirmed that the sacrifice and dedication of war invalids, martyrs, and meritorious people are a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism and eternal patriotism. That is also the spiritual foundation for the sustainable development of today's homeland of Chuyen My.
Along with that, Comrade Nguyen Huu Chi - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee led the delegation to visit and present gifts to 8 policy families in the villages: Tu Thuan, Chung Chan, Chinh Van, Thuong village, Vuc village, Trai village, Ung Cu village and Cuu village. Here, he visited the health and life of war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' relatives; expressed his gratitude for the spirit of overcoming difficulties, striving to build prosperous and happy families of policy families, and at the same time hoped that the families would continue to promote revolutionary traditions and educate their children to follow the example of their father and grandfather.
On the same day, other working groups also simultaneously launched visiting activities throughout the commune: Group No. 2, led by Comrade Tran Thi Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and comrades in the Standing Committee, visited 4 policy families in Gie Thuong, Gie Ha, Thuong Yen, Thuy Phu villages.
Group No. 3 led by Comrade Duong Minh Tuan - Head of the Party Construction Committee, visited 7 households in Dong Pho, Dong Ca, Dai Nghiep, Ngai Khe, Thuong Lieu, Le Nhue and Gia Phu villages. Group No. 5 led by Comrade Do Thi Thanh Xuan - Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, visited and encouraged 9 policy families in many residential areas in the area.
At the families visiting, in addition to the material gifts, the most precious thing is sharing, listening and understanding. The commune leaders not only sent their sincere gratitude, but also encouraged the families to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, being a shining example for the younger generation to follow in studying, working and living.
