The activity was implemented according to Plan No. 4986/KH-UBND dated June 30, 2025 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, with the participation of a delegation of leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, former leaders of the City, representatives of departments, branches, sectors, armed forces, former political prisoners and relatives of martyrs living in Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and Binh Duong province (before the merger).

July 26, 2025:
At 7:00 a.m.: Flag-raising ceremony at Flagpole - Ton Duc Thang Street (in front of the Con Dao Special Administrative Center).
At 8 o'clock, there will be activities to visit and give gifts to former political prisoners, martyrs' families, meritorious people and armed forces units in Con Dao.
At 10:00 a.m., the activities of visiting and giving books and learning equipment to 03 schools in the Special Zone (Cao Van Ngoc Primary School, Le Hong Phong Secondary School, Vo Thi Sau High School) and the Department of Culture and Sports will send students a special circus - puppet performance program staged and performed by the City Arts Center. With a unique combination of traditional and modern performing arts, the program promises to bring relaxing, joyful and emotional moments.
At 5:00 p.m. is the visitation ceremony for Hang Keo Cemetery, Hang Duong Cemetery, Con Dao Temple.
6:00 p.m. is the candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
At 7:00 p.m., a special art program will take place at 30.4 Stadium, Nguyen Hue Street, Con Dao. The art program is a heroic song about the resilient and heroic struggle of many generations of ancestors.
The program is also a deep gratitude of today's generation for the great sacrifices of heroic martyrs and patriots, for the value of a peaceful and happy life. The program is chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports, combining stage design art with cinematic techniques and precious historical documents to bring a meaningful artistic space, arousing pride and responsibility to preserve revolutionary traditions.
July 27, 2025:
At 9:30 a.m., the death anniversary of the Heroes, martyrs, revolutionary soldiers and patriotic people took place at Con Dao Temple - a sacred activity, demonstrating the profound " use of gratitude" of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to the main activities, Ho Chi Minh City also organizes a free medical examination and medicine distribution program for the army and people of Con Dao special zone throughout the two days of July 26 and 27, 2025 - contributing to taking care of the lives and health of people in the archipelago.
The highlight throughout the series of activities is the deep gratitude, iron affection and sacred responsibility of Ho Chi Minh City towards those who have sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
