The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 1, Article 4 of the Law on Personal Data Protection 2025 (effective from January 1, 2026) stipulates the rights of personal data subjects including:

a) Knowledge about personal data processing activities;

b) Agree or not, request to withdraw the consent to allow personal data processing;

c) View, edit or request to edit personal data;

d) Request to provide, delete, and limit processing of personal data; send a request to protest the processing of personal data;

d) Complaints, denunciations, lawsuits, and claims for compensation for damages in accordance with the provisions of law;

e) Request competent authorities or agencies, organizations and individuals related to personal data processing to take measures and solutions to protect their personal data in accordance with the provisions of law.

Thus, personal data subjects have the above rights.
