Chairman of Commune People's Committee fined up to 37.5 million VND for social insurance

Clause 1, Article 55, Decree 283/2026/ND-CP stipulates the handling of administrative violations in the fields of labor, social insurance, and Vietnamese workers going to work abroad under contract as follows:

1. Chairman of the People's Committee of commune, ward, special zone (hereinafter referred to as commune level) has the power to:

a) Warning;

b) A fine of up to 37.5 million VND for administrative violations in the field of labor and social insurance;

c) A fine of up to 50 million VND for administrative violations in the field of Vietnamese workers going to work abroad under contracts;

d) Revocation of the right to use a professional certificate for a limited term or suspension of operation for a limited term;

e) Confiscation of exhibits of administrative violations;

e) Applying remedial measures specified in Clause 3, Article 3 of this Decree.

Thus, the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee is fined up to 37.5 million VND for administrative violations in the field of labor and social insurance.
