Article 5 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT regulating extra teaching and learning (effective from February 14, 2025) regulates extra teaching and learning in schools as follows:

1. Extra teaching and learning in schools must not collect fees from students and is only for students who register for extra classes in each subject as follows:

a) Students whose final semester subject results are unsatisfactory;

b) Students selected by the school to nurture excellent students;

c) Final year students voluntarily register to review for entrance exams and graduation exams according to the school's educational plan.

Thus, students whose final semester study results are below the required level, students selected by the school to train excellent students, and final year students who voluntarily register for entrance exam review and graduation exam review according to the school's educational plan will receive free extra classes at the school.
