Will retirement without VNeID be stopped?

Article 75 of the 2024 Law on Social Insurance stipulates the suspension, termination, and continued enjoyment of monthly pensions and social insurance allowances as follows:

1. Temporarily suspend the enjoyment of monthly pensions and social insurance allowances for people who are receiving them when falling into one of the following cases:

a) Illegal exit;

b) Being declared missing by the Court;

c) When the beneficiary information cannot be verified as prescribed in point c, clause 2, Article 11 of this Law.

3. Pensions and monthly social insurance allowances of subjects specified in Clause 1 and Point a, Clause 2 of this Article are continued to be paid, including pensions and monthly social insurance allowances for the period of not receiving when falling into one of the following cases:

a) People who illegally exit the country and return;

b) Having a decision of the Court to cancel the decision declaring missing or the decision declaring dead;

c) The subject specified in point c, clause 1 of this Article has verified the information as prescribed in point c, clause 2, Article 11 of this Law.

Thus, people without VNeID are also not stopped from receiving pensions.
