Bonus level for security and order guards at the grassroots level awarded the bravery Medal

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 52 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 stipulates: "Meteorical Medal" is awarded or posthumously awarded to individuals who have acts of bravery in saving people and property of the State or the People in disasters, epidemics, accidents, fires, explosions, fighting against crime or bravely volunteering in dangerous places to protect people's lives and achievements that have an act of encouragement, education, and setting an example within the management scope of the Ministry, department, branch, province or nationwide.

Point h, Clause 1, Article 50 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the bonus level for individuals awarded the Third Class "Lager Medal", the Third Class "Hit Medal", the Third Class "Fatherland Protection Medal" and the "Mortage Medal": 4.5 times the basic salary;

According to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2,340,000 VND/month.

Thus, from July 1, 2025, if a person participating in the security and order protection force at the grassroots level is awarded the bravery Medal, he/she will be awarded VND 10,530,000 according to the above regulations.
