Tasks of grade III secondary school teachers according to new regulations

Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 30/2026/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training (effective from April 14, 2026) stipulates the tasks of secondary school teachers rank III as follows:

a) Develop the teaching and education plan of the assigned subject and participate in the development of the education plan of the professional group according to the goals and curriculum of secondary school level;

b) Teaching and educating students according to the school's education program and plan and professional groups; managing students in educational activities organized by the school;

c) Using teaching and education methods in the direction of developing students' abilities and qualities, actively promoting students' activities; implementing activities to check and evaluate students' learning and training results according to regulations; participating in discovering and fostering gifted students or tutoring students who are assessed as not meeting their standards;

d) Organize psychological counseling and career guidance activities for students and parents of assigned classes; coordinate with relevant organizations and individuals to carry out teaching, education, psychological counseling, and career guidance activities for students;

e) Participating in activities of professional groups; participating in science, technology and innovation activities; participating in universal education in localities and inclusive education according to assignment; or participating in competitions and contests of teachers from school level upwards; or guiding students to participate in competitions and contests from school level upwards in the assigned field;

e) Completing training courses and training programs according to regulations; self-study, self-training to improve professional and nghiệp vụ capacity;

g) Implementing the application of information technology in teaching, education, learning, professional activities and student management;

h) Perform other tasks assigned by the principal in accordance with the professional capacity standards of grade III and other relevant legal regulations.

Thus, from April 14, 2026, grade III secondary school teachers have the tasks according to the above regulations.
