Article 11 of Decree 234/2026/ND-CP stipulating the handling of disciplinary action against public employees (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates the application of disciplinary action of dismissal to public employees as follows:
The form of dismissal discipline applies to public employees who have committed violations in one of the following cases:
1. Has been disciplined by dismissal for management officials or warning for officials who do not hold management positions but re-offend.
2. Having a first-time violation, causing very serious consequences, falling into one of the cases specified in Article 8 or Clause 3, Article 9 of this Decree, but the violator does not have an attitude of receiving, correcting, and proactively remedying the consequences and falls into one of the cases specified in Clause 3, Article 4 of this Decree.
3. Using fake or illegal diplomas, certificates, certificates, confirmations to be recruited into agencies, organizations, and units.
4. Drug addiction; in this case, there must be a conclusion from a medical facility or notification from a competent authority.
Thus, from July 1, 2026, civil servants who violate the above-mentioned acts will be considered for disciplinary action of dismissal.
