Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh - Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University - said that among the candidates who registered for the second round, there were 27,218 newly registered candidates, 67,623 students who participated in the first round and continued to register for the exam to improve their results.
In total, in 2025, 155,556 candidates registered to take the exam.
The results of the second round are expected to be announced on June 16. If candidates take both exams, the higher exam results will be used for admission.
According to Mr. Chinh, there are currently more than 100 educational institutions registered to use the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University for admission to the unit.
Previously, Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the results of the first round of exams of more than 126,000 candidates. In which, the average score of candidates is 618.4 points, 142 candidates achieve over 1,000 points.
Candidates with the highest exam score in the exam are 1,060 points and candidates with the lowest exam score is 40 points. In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City National University will not send a paper copy of the certificate of the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam ( Certificate) to candidates as in previous years.
Instead, candidates will be granted an electronic certificate to create more favorable conditions for candidates and admission units.
