This year, Can Tho University applied 6 admission methods for the admission round.
Method 1 is direct admission, priority is admission.
In which, the subjects directly selected are heroes of labor, heroes of the armed forces, and national emulation fighters; candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in the national and international excellent student selection exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training; candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in the national and international science and technology exam organized and sent by the Ministry of Education and Training; the award ceremony time is not more than 3 years from the time of direct admission;...
Method 2 is to consider admission scores for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
Method 3 is to consider high school transcript scores. Accordingly, candidates must meet the entrance quality assurance threshold in 2025 determined by Can Tho University and have no subjects with 1 point or less (on a 10-point scale), especially for talent subjects, they must achieve 5 or more points.
Method 4 is to consider V-SAT exam scores.
V-SAT is an entrance exam organized annually by Can Tho University or another higher education institution. The school conducts admission based on V-SAT exam scores according to a combination of 3 subjects corresponding to the major registered by candidates. For the talent subject, the results will be organized by Can Tho University or another school in 2025.
Method 5 is admission to an advanced and high-quality program.
Admit candidates who are admitted to regular university in 2025 in any major according to methods 1, 2, 3, and 4, and have officially enrolled in Can Tho University and have a need to study a major in an advanced program or high-quality program.
Method 6 is direct admission to supplementary knowledge.
The contestants are very few ethnic minorities according to current Government regulations. Candidates from 20 poor border districts and islands in the Southwest region.
In the 2025 university entrance exam, Can Tho University will enroll 10,500 students with 117 major codes, including 17 major codes for training under advanced, high-quality programs and 100 major codes for admission under mass training programs.
