Method 1: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
In this method, candidates who win First, Second and Third prizes in the national excellent student selection exam in foreign languages will be admitted directly to the subjects suitable for the exam.
Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam
With this method, candidates are not limited by the number of wishes when admission to the school. The score is calculated on a 30-point scale, the foreign language score is calculated at a coefficient of 2, then added to this scale. Admission scores are calculated according to the formula:
Admission score = [( Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + (Foreign Language score x 2))/4 x 3] + bonus score + priority points (if any)
Method 3: Considering foreign language certificate admission combined with high school graduation exam results in 2025
In method 3, candidates will use a foreign language certificate converted to a score of 10 months, combined with the graduation exam scores of the remaining 2 subjects in the group to apply for admission to the school. Specifically, the formula for calculating scores and the table for compiling foreign language certificate scores is as follows:

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment Test organized by Hanoi National University
Candidates admitted by this method must have a minimum score of 30 50% on the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test in English. Admission scores are calculated on a scale of 150, then reduced to a scale of 30 according to the standard conversion formula of Hanoi National University and added priority points.
Method 5: Considering certificate admission combined with high school academic results
This method applies to students studying at high schools under Hanoi National University or students majoring in specialized high schools at provincial and centrally run cities. At the same time, candidates must have good academic results for all 3 years of high school (excellent academic performance or higher) and achieve a minimum of 8 points in Math or 2 points in Math ( Math, Literature) to achieve a minimum of 15 points in the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Candidates use the certificate to convert to a scale of 10 with a coefficient of 2 combined with the results of 6 semesters of high school in the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination, then reduce it to a scale of 30 and add priority points according to regulations.

Bonus points, priority points
With the bonus points, the school stipulates that the total bonus points for candidates with special achievements do not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the consideration scale (maximum 3 points for a score of 30).
