Running on this route are mainly restaurant boats, serving tourists who eat and watch the bay and Ha Long City.
According to the Ha Long Bay Management Board, on May 1, 8,236 visitors followed the Ha Long Bay 8 Journey, including 8,154 domestic visitors and 82 foreign visitors. The revenue from entrance fee collection is more than 552,000,000 VND.
On May 2, there were 3,528 visitors, including 3,391 domestic visitors and 137 foreign visitors visiting and dining on Ha Long Bay Journey 8; revenue was more than 229,000,000 VND.
Meanwhile, on March 3, there were more than 3,000 visitors, with revenue reaching more than 193,000,000 VND.
The two newly opened routes and are also allowed to collect tolls from 1.5 on Ha Long Bay are Ha Long Bay Journey 6 and 7.
Ha Long Bay itinerary 6, including the following locations: Port - Hon Chan Voi - Vung Ba Cua - Tung Lam Island - Hon Cau Bai (the end point of the itinerary adjacent to Gia Luan, Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong), opened to connect tours between Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The fee for this route is 150,000 VND/time/person/day.
However, up to this point, no cruise ship has been running this route.
With Ha Long Bay 7 Journey, visitors can visit Ha Long Bay Journey 1,2,3,4 during the day by yacht to explore. The fee for this route is 600,000 VND/time/person/day. Up to now, no trains have been running on route 7.
Also according to the Ha Long Bay Management Board, from April 30 to May 3, Ha Long Bay welcomed nearly 86,000 visitors, achieving a total revenue from ticket sales of nearly 21 billion VND.
Accumulated from the beginning of 2025 to May 3, 2025, Ha Long Bay welcomed more than 1 million visitors, mainly international visitors with more than 852,000 visitors; total revenue from ticket sales reached more than 336 billion VND.
