According to information from Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, the Ha Long Carnival 2026 program takes place on April 30 at 30/10 Square (Ha Long ward).
Before the opening of the Carnival, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, street parades and balls will take place along the Bai Chay coastal road to Hon Gai beach, gathering in the area behind the Museum, Library and Planning Palace, Fair and Exhibition.
The parade includes 54 blocks representing 54 communes, wards, special zones and international art troupes from a number of countries and localities with cooperative relations with Quang Ninh.
Circus performances, dances, stilt walking, typical cultural performances and street dances with about 1,000 dancers will be performed throughout the program.
The opening art program of the Carnival starts from 8 pm, lasting about 180 minutes, including the following contents: opening parade, opening ceremony, screening of tourism promotion clips, art performances and fireworks display.
The event had the participation of many artists such as My Tam, Quang Hung Master D, Rhyder, Trong Hieu, Minh Tuyet, Anh Tu, Bui Cong Nam, Ly Ly, Lam Bao Ngoc.
Ha Long Carnival 2026 is the opening activity for Quang Ninh Culture, Sports and Tourism Week welcoming summer, taking place from April 25 to May 3, 2026.
It is expected that the series of events will attract about 1.3 million visitors, contributing to the implementation of the goal of Quang Ninh welcoming 5.92 million visitors in the second quarter of 2026, with total tourism revenue estimated at 18,176 billion VND.
