Sports Chosun reported that on the evening of March 25, YouTube channel Garosero posted a video titled "Shocking exclusive news: Kim Sae Ron's husband's statement is revealed (Kim Sae Ron's suspected ex-boyfriend)".
Garosero has announced the marriage certificate of the late actor Kim Sae Ron issued by the New Jersey Department of Health (USA) on January 12, 2025, along with the statement of Mr. A - who revealed himself as Kim Sae Ron's husband.
A said that he decided to speak up to clarify the incident because he thought that "the defamation of the deceased and he himself had reached a serious level, due to too much false information being spread".
According to Mr. A, he met Kim Sae Ron in mid-November 2024 through an acquaintance and after a short time of developing feelings, they got married in the US on January 12, 2025, only with the presence of witnesses.
However, A said that because he and Kim Sae Ron fell in love too quickly and decided to get married without carefully considering, plus practical issues such as geographical distance, personality differences... so both agreed to divorce.
Regarding the accusation of abusing Kim Sae Ron, A denied it. He explained: "The house I live in in in the US is a quiet apartment with poor soundproofing. Therefore, if any dam damage occurs, the lower-level neighbors will report it.
Furthermore, the attack in the US will face serious legal consequences. I have been taught this since I was a child.
A said that, except for the first meeting (November 2024), Kim Sae Ron has proactively visited the US every 3 times. He asked, "If there are unreasonable things like violence and forcedness, why did Kim Sae Ron volunteer to go to the US many times?"
A also denied that Kim Sae Ron was pregnant: I would like to confirm that there was no pregnancy, and there was no threat or forced marriage from me. Those rumors are untrue and have seriously damaged our honor.
Previously, on the morning of March 25, The Fact published evidence from Mr. K, claiming to be Kim Sae Ron's ex-boyfriend, whom she trusted and contacted until before passing away.
K wrote a "Truth Confirmation Certificate", provided a full name, citizen identification number and confirmed it with a red impressure. Along with that was a photo of messages between K and Kim Sae Ron.
K told The Fact: I know that Sae Rons passing was not due to actor Kim Soo Hyun. I was angry because there were too many truths hidden. I want to make at least part of that truth public to the world, even to soothe the soul of the deceased Sae Ron.
According to K, when she learned that Kim Sae Ron had contacted her ex-boyfriend (to seek comfort in difficult times), her husband in New York confiscated her phone, supervised and continuously insulted her.
Sae Ron also revealed to K that she was abused. During this time, she fell into a state of chaos and tried many times to commit suicide.
