On August 23, the Pleiku Construction Investment Project Management Board (Gia Lai province) said that the construction unit had installed many solid bronze gongs at the welcome gate of the Hoan Kiem Lake Tourist Area.
At this famous tourist destination, people and tourists are excited to admire the gongs of different sizes.
According to the investor, the project was designed and constructed through many stages of appraisal and approval to ensure aesthetics, while expressing the traditional cultural features of local residents.

The welcome gate has a furry roof, with many gongs attached on both sides - a symbol of the Central Highlands gong cultural space, a heritage recognized by UNESCO.
The welcome gate is covered with precious monolithic green stone, transported from Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh.
The Hoan Kiem Sea welcome gate project has a total investment of 21.7 billion VND, of which the construction cost is about 20.9 billion VND.

Regarding the construction of works at tourist attractions, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee previously requested a temporary stop on the construction of a greenhouse and an exhibition house in Gri village (Bien Ho commune, at the foot of Chu Dang Ya volcano).
This project with an investment capital of 9.4 billion VND is said to have not consulted the community, is not in harmony with the natural landscape and is at risk of breaking the tourism planning.
The Chu Dang Ya Sea and Volcanoes are located in the "Chu Dang Ya Sea Deer Eco-tourism Area" complex, which has just been added to the list of National Tourist Areas according to the "Overall Planning for Tourism Development of Vietnam and the Central Highlands to 2020, Vision 2030".
