Spreading the atmosphere to every family
These days, the atmosphere towards the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term is spreading widely throughout Phu Tho province.
At agencies, residential areas, residential groups or voter meetings, the story of the election is always mentioned. Notably, that atmosphere also spreads to each meal of many families.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, voter Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, Thinh Minh commune, Phu Tho province said that recently, the story of candidates and expectations for delegates after being elected has been frequently mentioned by members of her family.
According to Ms. Hoa, not only in meetings at the commune People's Committee headquarters or voter meetings, when returning home, her family members still continue to exchange and discuss about the upcoming election.
“At meal times, everyone shares with each other about the candidates, about their action programs. Everyone wants to choose truly worthy delegates, representing the voice of the people,” Ms. Hoa shared.
As the head of the women's union branch in the locality, Ms. Hoa said that she is particularly interested in policies related to women, families and ethnic minorities. Therefore, she spends time carefully researching information about candidates.
In Nat Son commune, voter Bui Van Binh also spent a lot of time studying the biographies and working processes of National Assembly deputy candidates and People's Council deputies at all levels.
Mr. Binh said that he is very interested in this election, because this is an opportunity for people to exercise their right to mastery by selecting typical representatives.
According to Mr. Binh, many candidates in this election are not only highly educated but also have a process of working closely with grassroots levels, understanding people's lives.
We hope that those who are selected will be truly close to the people, understand the people and be responsible to voters. People expect delegates to continue to promptly reflect issues from real life," Mr. Binh shared.
Ready for the "Moon and River Festival

There are only a few days left until the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. Phu Tho province has basically completed the preparations, ready for the "Moon and River Festival".
According to the plan, on March 15, 2026, voters nationwide in general and voters in Phu Tho province in particular will participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
Information from the Phu Tho Provincial Department of Home Affairs said that to ensure that the election work is implemented uniformly and in accordance with regulations, from November 2025, the province established the Steering Committee for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
At the commune level, the whole province has established 148 election steering committees according to regulations. On November 12, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to establish the Provincial Election Committee with 37 members. Localities also established 148 commune-level election committees with a total of 2,473 members.
In this election, Phu Tho province elected 17 National Assembly deputies in 6 National Assembly constituencies, of which 5 constituencies elected 3 deputies and 1 constituency elected 2 deputies.
For the election of provincial People's Council deputies for the term 2026–2031, the whole province has 19 electoral units with a total of 85 deputies elected. At the commune level, there are 924 commune-level People's Council election units, electing 3,662 deputies.
