On the night of December 31st, Gia Lai province organized the Gia Lai Countdown New Year 2026 program with the theme "Lighting up the heart - Connecting love", broadcast live from two locations: Nguyen Tat Thanh Square and Dai Doan Ket Square.
This is a unique cultural and entertainment event marking the moment of transition between the old year and the new year, an opportunity for Gia Lai to spread the spirit of solidarity, gratitude for efforts to overcome storms and floods, and at the same time towards the National Tourism Year 2026 that the province hosts.
Opening the program was a large-scale music - lighting - LED screen performance. Next was the song "The Flame of the Heart" elaborately staged, depicting the spirit of love for the homeland, perseverance and solidarity of the people of Gia Lai.
With the theme "Spring Vitality - Spreading Love", Chapter I of the program brings a fresh atmosphere with songs Happy New Year, Hello Vietnam, Mashup "Vietnam Goes and Goes - Vietnam Journeys" performed by singer Kyo York; Spring Melody performed by singer Suzie Ngoc; Dinh Kien Phong with the song "Full of Year";... along with a mashup combining modern dance and images of Quy Nhon beach - Pleiku mountain town, contributing to promoting the beauty of nature and people of Gia Lai.
Moving to Chapter II with the theme "Lighting up the fire of youth - International Convergence", the atmosphere of the 2026 New Year's Eve Countdown night became vibrant with domestic - international young DJs and singers, EDM music and brilliant effects stage, leading the audience to the countdown moment.
The performance of singer "Anh Trai Say Hi" - Khoi Vu with the songs Intro + Berlin, SAIROI and OVER; along with the performance of singer "Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai" - Neko Le with the songs Cu De Anh, Yeu Dai Kho, Lieu Thuoc Cho Chung Ta,... made thousands of viewers excited.
Friend Truong Hoang Hai (20 years old, residing in Bong Son ward, Gia Lai) shared: "Tonight is really a very exciting night, the Countdown night atmosphere is so bustling as if shattering the gloomy space after 2 historic storms and floods, bringing bursting emotions in the moment of welcoming the new year".
And Dinh Thi Nga (18 years old, residing in Nghe An province) also expressed excitement when attending the New Year's Eve 2026 Countdown night in Gia Lai: "I was quite surprised to see Gia Lai recovering early after a terrible natural disaster, returning strongly with such a grand music program. The New Year atmosphere has spread throughout the province, really!".
With brilliant visual fireworks and countdown moments, the program closed 2025 and opened a new year with belief, hope, and aspiration for development.
