The exhibition creates an unprecedented effect
From the very beginning, people from all over the country have flocked to the exhibition. According to the original plan, the event would end on September 5, right after the National Day holiday on September 2. However, due to great attention, the Government decided to extend the deadline to September 15, creating more opportunities for people and tourists to visit.
In just 6 days of opening, the exhibition attracted nearly 4 million visitors, of which September 1 set a record with more than 1 million visitors. By September 13, there were about 1.3 million visitors in one day - equivalent to 32 times the My Dinh Stadium was filled. The organizing committee estimates that the exhibition will welcome more than 10 million visitors - an unprecedented record in the history of national exhibitions.
On an area of nearly 260,000m2, the exhibition brings together the participation of 34 provinces, cities, central ministries, branches and many typical corporations and enterprises. Tens of thousands of artifacts, images, and models are displayed scientifically, applying modern technology such as virtual reality, 3D mapping, artificial intelligence (AI), bringing a panoramic, vivid picture of a resilient Vietnam in fighting, creative in construction and development.
The success of the exhibition is not only measured by numbers, but also by social effects. Behind the crowded crowd are touching stories - about memories, pride, responsibility, solidarity as well as the desire to contribute.

Among the visitors, Thuy Duong (25 years old, office worker in Hanoi) could not hide her emotions: "I never imagined that Vietnam would have such a large-scale and magnificent exhibition. The exhibition space is not only spacious but also invested in very modern areas, especially 3D projection areas, virtual reality, artificial intelligence (AI)...".
This experience, according to Duong, completely changed her thinking about national exhibitions. Many other young people also consider this a "livable historical class", an opportunity to approach the country's achievements with a visual and close image.
The attraction of the exhibition is not limited to the capital. The convoys of cars carrying people from neighboring provinces and cities to Hanoi create an impressive image.
Hai Phong is at the forefront with the "Zero-dong trip" program. In just 4 days (September 8-11), the city organized 132 free trips, bringing nearly 5,600 people to visit. Bac Ninh also arranged 6 large buses, organizing 12 trips/day, bringing thousands of people - from the elderly, veterans to students, and workers - to the exhibition.
Those "love trips" show that the exhibition is not only a cultural - political activity, but a "river festival" for the entire population.
The pride of union members and workers
Among the millions of visitors were many union officials, union members, and workers. For them, the exhibition is not only a place to admire their achievements but also an opportunity to foster trust and patriotism.
Ms. An Thi Phuong Hoa - Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union - was moved: "Coming to the exhibition, I feel the achievements of 34 provinces and cities, of industries over the past 80 years, feeling proud of the development and development of the country". Ms. Hoa was especially impressed by the space of the Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Trade Union, where she focused on learning about the history of formation and the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying workers and laborers.
As for Ms. Tran Thi Thuong - a worker at Thang Long Industrial Park (Hanoi), the exhibition is an unforgettable memory. In addition, I also understand more about the history and development process of the Vietnam Trade Union - an organization that represents the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers like me.
Aspiration and strength of great national unity
A highlight of the exhibition is the space of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, designed based on the symbol of the lotus - the national flower of Vietnam. With 6 lotus leaves, the main area of the exhibition on the Vietnam Fatherland Front shows its central role, the pioneering flag in solidarity, gathering all classes of people, successfully implementing the goals of building, protecting and developing the country. Each lotus leaf will show the outstanding results of socio-political organizations. The identifying colors of the exhibition will use red and yellow according to the general identification of the exhibition package.
The central lotus wing block represents the Vietnam Fatherland Front - the journey of origin, creation, and development. Lotus No. 2: The Trade Union and the Vietnamese working class are pioneers, creative, and firmly entering the new era! Lotus wing 3: Promoting the tradition of "Heroic, indomitable, loyal, and steadfast" Vietnamese women confidently enter the new era. Lotus No. 4: Vietnam Veterans " Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation". Lotus branch No. 5: Farmers are the subject, the center of the process of agricultural development, rural economy and new rural construction. After 19 days, the exhibition has closed with nearly 10 million visitors - a record number. But the greater value is the social effect: arousing love for the Fatherland, national pride, and faith in the path of national development.
These are families reviewing memories together; workers and union members adding love to their organization; a generation of young people eagerly excited about technology and history; and carts of love bringing thousands of people to the "river festival".
The exhibition has proven: National strength lies not only in growth, but in the consensus, solidarity and aspiration of the people.
80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness is not only the theme of the exhibition, but also the journey of the entire nation. The exhibition ended, but the message of pride, responsibility and aspiration remained. Nearly 10,000 Hai Phong people are welcomed to the Exhibition for free
During the days from September 8-15, Hai Phong City organized a free transportation of 230 vehicles for nearly 10,000 city residents to see the Exhibition of 80 years of national achievements held at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi.
This action of Hai Phong city has been especially supported by the public, spreading good deeds. Many people expressed their pride in being cared for by the city from material to spiritual life.
