Since the afternoon of December 19, Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 (Hung Yen) has recorded a large number of people lining up to check-in for the Y-Concert, even though there are still many more hours left to officially open the check-in gate.
According to records, from around 3:00 p.m. on December 19, a line of people stretched along the entrance to the check-in area.
Although the organizers have clearly announced the opening time of the check-in gate from 10:00 a.m. on December 20, the mentality of wanting a favorable location, especially the area near the stage, has made many audiences proactive in coming early.
Some people said that lining up in advance helps them feel more secure, avoiding crowds and delays on the day of the show.
Some groups are assigned to look after things, taking turns resting right on the sidewalk or concrete ground. Many personal items such as water bottles, suitcases, backpacks... are placed underground to mark the location in the goods, to avoid jostling when the number of people continues to increase in the evening.
Many audiences choose to sleep on the floor, spread tarpaulins or jackets on the ground to rest. Others took the opportunity to snack, charge their phones, and chat while waiting.
Although they have to wait for many hours, most of them keep order and voluntarily queue in the pre-existing order.
Present in the area since early afternoon of December 19, Mr. Tran Hoang Anh Minh and Ms. Nguyen The Lien Nhi (Da Nang) said that they had traveled to Hung Yen early to change bracelets, then planned to come from early morning of December 20 to check-in in line.
"We arrived early to complete the procedures and have time to rest before watching the concert. Both of us hope for favorable weather so that we can fully watch the program, Lien Nhi shared.
The couple added that their favorite artist in the performance list is Soobin Hoang Son.
Y-Concert is a concert taking place on the evening of December 20 at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3.
The program brings together a large group of artists, including many faces that have attracted the attention of the audience in recent times from the programs "Chi dep dap gio", "Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai", "Tan Binh Toan Nang"...
According to the announced schedule, on December 19, there will be activities to exchange bracelets and receive merchandise, while on December 20 there will be a series of main activities, from the experience area, individual performance stage to the evening jam stage.
The check-in gate officially opens at 10am, the experience and exchange area lasts until 6pm.
The individual performance stage takes place in the afternoon, before the solo stage officially begins at 6:30 p.m. The event is expected to end at midnight.
The fact that audiences line up early, even overnight, reflects the appeal of Y-Concert as well as the trend of being willing to wait for a better experience at major music events.
However, in the context of the year-end weather and the large number of people gathering, many opinions said that the audience needs to proactively maintain their health and follow the instructions of the organizers to ensure safety throughout the program.
