This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
The Hai Phong City Police Library was built in the city police headquarters with an area of nearly 200 m2, displaying thousands of books in many fields such as: politics, professional law of the People's Public Security, literature, along with many other documents, newspapers, magazines...

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Pham Viet Dung - Deputy Director of the City Police - affirmed that the City Police Library being inaugurated and put into use not only enhances political mettle, legal knowledge and professional qualifications but also fosters the cultural and spiritual life of officers and soldiers.
The Deputy Director of the City Police Department suggested that in the coming time, the library should expand connections between libraries in the People's Public Security and the Hai Phong City Library, continue to effectively exploit document sources such as books, newspapers, magazines, and promptly update information in all fields. Thereby, better serving political and ideological education, scientific research and professional work; preserving and promoting the value of knowledge in the Public Security sector.
