On the evening of April 27, the national television program "Forever the cycle of restoration" took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) by Vietnam Television, taking place at 3 locations in Hanoi, Quang Tri and Ho Chi Minh City.
Politburo member and President Luong Cuong attended the Ho Chi Minh City bridge; Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Hanoi bridge; Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the Quang Tri bridge.

Also attending the Ho Chi Minh City bridge were Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Secretary of the Party Central Committee Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.

Also attending the Hanoi bridge were Politburo members: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

Also attending the Quang Tri bridge were Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.
This is a program that demonstrates Vietnam's aspiration for peace and the will to be independent, conveying the message of pride in the development and prosperity of the country.
The three bridges are located at Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi); North of Hien Luong Flag Tower (Quang Tri) and Saigon Riverside Park (HCMC). These are all meaningful places, connecting the past and the present.
Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi) inaugurated in 1961, is a historical symbol of the desire for peace, North - South reunion.
Special National Monument The Hien Luong - Ben Hai Bank Area (Quang Tri) is a symbol of the will and aspiration for independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people who are passionate about peace.
Saigon Riverside Park (HCMC) is a connection between tradition and modernity, demonstrating the vitality of a heroic, dynamic and creative city.


With 3 chapters: "Peace desire", "Independence will unify" and "I am proud to go up, oh Vietnam!", TV bridge intertwined between the past and present, recreating the heroic history of the nation, showing historical lessons, solidarity, and highlighting the achievements of the country throughout the road of construction and development.
The program opened with a message about the Aspiration for Peace. These are valuable documentary footage recreating the painful but resilient historical setting, when the whole nation was forced to hold guns to protect independence. The art performances are full of epics, from folk melodies to contemporary ensembles, deeply depicting the indomitable will of the nation.
In chapter 2 - "The will to independently unified", the program gives the audience a special report on the 1968 Tet holiday, the battle of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and the 1973 Paris Agreement - historic milestones that change the war situation. Art performances combined with 3D Mapping technology, vividly recreating the moment our troops enter the unified hall, bringing viewers back to the great historical moment.


In chapter 3 - "I am proud to go up, oh Vietnam!" are messages from historical lessons connected to the achievements of the country today, confirming the stature of the Southern Liberation event (30.4) in the country's development journey.
Here, the audience can enjoy modern art performances, from the grand ceremony to the brilliant fireworks display, which will ignite pride and aspiration to reach the future.
