The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will take place from March 9 to 13 in Buon Ma Thuot city and some localities in Dak Lak province. The event is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory over Buon Ma Thuot and the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).
The festival is expected to attract about 200,000 visitors, including about 1,500 international visitors. This year, the event includes 17 official activities.
Ms. Ton Nu Linh Chi, a tourist from Thua Thien - Hue, who attended the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023, is expected to return to the event this year. In early March 2025, Ms. Linh Chi and her family of 4 planned to continue to Dak Lak to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere. The family hopes that the Organizing Committee will add more new and attractive activities, while implementing the organization work systematically, limiting the situation of "ripping off" and traffic congestion.
Mr. Tran Duc Nhat - Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee - said that this is an important event to promote the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand, aiming to build the image of "The Coffee City of the World". The city government has developed a plan to ensure security and order and limit traffic congestion.
"We request food and accommodation service establishments... to publicly list prices, to avoid raising prices that negatively affect the city's image in the eyes of domestic and foreign tourists" - Mr. Nhat emphasized.

According to Mr. Tuan Ha, the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 will have many new points compared to previous festivals. Notable are the Digital content creation contest to promote the festival online and the "Accompanying, Sharing" Coffee Farm at the historical - cultural relic site of CADA Wharf (Krong Pac district).
