Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the 2025 Sea Tourism - Cultural Festival, replacing the familiar Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival in previous years. This is an effort to innovate the organization to create a new mark for the tourism industry in the province.
The theme of this year's festival is "Nha Trang say Hi" - a friendly greeting to domestic and foreign tourists. The main activities will be concentrated at April 2 Square and along the coastal park route of Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City.
According to the plan, the festival will have 4 main event groups including: "Nha Trang Say Hi" music festival taking place at 8:10 p.m. on June 7 (Saturday), with high-altitude fireworks; International cultural exchange program taking place at 8:10 p.m. on June 8 (Sunday); Street parade carnival held at 4:00 p.m. on June 9 (Monday).
The festival also has a series of sports, cultural, culinary and environmental protection activities taking place throughout June. Notably, there is the Street Food Festival, Tram Huong Festival, Yen Sao Festival...
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the organizer, coordinating with localities and related units to implement the plan, update and monitor the actual progress of each activity. In addition, media agencies and businesses are also encouraged to participate in promoting and spreading the image of the festival.
Notably, Khanh Hoa province calls on accommodation establishments, restaurants, tourism services... to participate in building the image of a civilized and friendly tourist city. This includes public announcement, listing and committing to reduce service prices during the peak of the festival to create attraction and attract tourists.
Replacing the Sea Festival brand with the Sea Culture - Tourism Festival is expected to open up a new approach, both preserving local identity and catching up with modern and friendly tourism trends, contributing to the strong return of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa after a period affected by the epidemic and tourism decline.
