Speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information said that the Department is currently transferring some documents and seals to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, so it is not possible to make an official decision on the fines for the above subjects. Ms. Huyen said that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will soon complete the procedures to make a decision as soon as possible.

Previously, the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Health sent an official dispatch to the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (PTTH&TTDT) and the Department of Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, requesting coordination in checking information about the case of Hang Du Cach, Quang Linh Vlogs and Miss Thuy Tien's false advertising, handling violations to promptly prevent violations of food advertising.
On March 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) invited Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Cach), Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs), Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Thuy Tien) to work to clearly determine the level of participation of individuals in livestream advertising and sales sessions.
After working, all 3 people admitted and admitted their mistake for providing untrue product information. Hang Du Cac and Quang Linh Vlogs were identified as the host of the livestream sessions, Miss Thuy Tien was just a guest.
Based on the severity of the violations, Pham Quang Linh and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang were fined for administrative violations for incorrect advertising, causing confusion about the quality of the published content. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien is reminded to pay more attention to complying with legal regulations on advertising and regulations on providing information online, according to Decree 147.
According to Clause 5, Article 34 of Decree 38/2021, when individuals or organizations commit acts of false advertising, they will be subject to administrative sanctions. Accordingly, individuals will be fined from 60 - 80 million VND for conduct of untrue advertising or causing confusion to customers about the quality, quantity, uses, origin, service methods and warranty period of registered or announced goods, products and services.
