In the behind-the-scenes program of "Sister Who Makes Wave 2024", Minh Hang responded for the first time to the conflict information with Toc Tien.
Minh Hang confided: “Only those involved can understand how people... feel stuck. Toc Tien and I have been in the profession (singers) for quite a while. I remember we both studied in the same class “Dreams within reach”. So it can be said that Tien and I started at the same time and had similar concerns.
I don't know about Tien, but I came to "Sister Who Makes Wave" with the spirit of connection.
People trust and have high expectations for me and Tien. I think that is a positive thing, not a negative thing.
Because people haven't seen how my "Sister" journey and Toc Tien's in the show will be, putting me on the scale with Toc Tien is completely possible."
Minh Hang affirmed that neither she nor Toc Tien are affected by external factors. The female singer believes that in the journey of "Sister Who Makes Wave", there will be more or less conflicts because each person has a different starting point and mindset.
She said, whether they are on the same side or on different sides, there will still be conflicts. However, both are over 30 years old and understand the importance of dialogue, finding a common voice to bring a really good program to the audience.
Toc Tien and Minh Hang only have battles over each song, not the petty jealousy that people out there are skeptical about.
Coming to "Sister Who Makes Wave 2024", Minh Hang has many thoughts about her own mindset in a "war" that many people are looking forward to.
She shared: “My mindset when I came here was not to fight to the death. My mindset when I came here was to make up for what I lacked, to listen, to look back at myself during the time I stopped working in showbiz, what I lost and what I still have.
My mindset is not to come here to be a winner. My mindset is that when I leave the competition, what I have and what my next steps in my career are, that's what's important."
