In the program "Dep.YouNique" of "Sister Who Makes Wave" 2024, Minh Hang confided about her emotional journey from the time she temporarily left showbiz to become a mother until she returned to art.
The female singer confided that although the process of taking care of her children is always busy, she herself is a person who loves her job so she needs to participate in "Sister Who Makes Wave" to balance both her life and emotions.
She said: “I felt trapped, pressured and always thought I was not doing a good job as a mother. Because being a mother is very difficult. And that role is very long, it is a journey to the end of your road, there is no break at all.
So I really need another journey to nourish my soul, to make my life connected with the outside world."
Returning to work after a long time, Minh Hang realized that she was easily exhausted and out of breath compared to before. Taking on two roles at the same time, being the mother of Mo (her child) and a public artist, the female singer had to learn to adapt and compromise.
Minh Hang always values the time spent with her children despite spending a lot of energy in "Sister Who Makes Wave": "Instead of the rest time of all the sisters after practice, I have to arrange that time for Mo. In addition to spending time for Mo, I also have to spend time with my family, because Mo also needs a family with a father, mother, and relatives."
Many people think that Minh Hang returned to work too soon when her child was still young, she replied: "It's simply because I need to balance my personal emotions. I think if I stay at home forever and take care of Mo full-time, I feel like I'm not okay.
My husband said: "A wife's emotions are like the energy of the universe. A happy wife makes the family happy, a grumpy wife makes the whole family tired." So I feel like I have to balance my emotions."
Minh Hang also affirmed that she had prepared carefully to return to work while still fulfilling her role as a mother well because: "I had decided to go back to work early, so since Mo was born, I stayed at home but still arranged everything possible."
Minh Hang is also very proud to have the support and assistance from her husband so that she can work with peace of mind: "For me to be able to go out to work without holding my phone or watching the camera, I mostly have the support of my husband."
