According to Korean media, Sooyoung - a member of the SNSD group is considering an invitation to star in KBS2's new weekend drama temporarily titled "I Went to School".
According to AllKpop, some industry sources said that the singer and actress has received the script and is actively considering this proposal.


Previously, the project attracted attention when there was information that actors Lee Jung Eun and Yoo Jun Sang were also discussing to participate. The film's content revolves around a middle-aged woman who decides to go to university in the late stages of her life, thereby experiencing a major turning point in her life journey.
The new work also marks the return of screenwriter Yang Hee Seung to KBS's weekend series, after the success of "Once Again" - a movie starring Lee Min Jung and Lee Sang Yeob.
Sooyoung debuted as a member of the SNSD group, then gradually affirmed her acting ability through many projects such as "Not Others" and "Second Shot at Love". If she accepts to participate in "I Went to School", this will be her first weekend return to film after nearly 10 years since "Man Who Sets the Table".
Besides the TV project being considered, Sooyoung also has a busy artistic schedule. She will participate in the play "The Merchant of Venice" opening on July 8, and the movie "Okay Madam 2" is expected to be released this summer.
In addition, the SNSD member also participated in the program "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN Shinsekai" as the main producer SEKAI.
