The thunderous, grinding sound blends with the sound of conversation, guidance of the craftsmen and the admiration and excitement of the international groups. Mr. Tan shared that the workshop is currently maintaining two parallel activities: processing artistic products according to orders and organizing experiential tours, allowing visitors to make souvenirs themselves.
Through these experiences, we want to introduce to visitors the culture of Vietnamese countryside, the story of how bamboo trees have become attached to people's lives. When they can do it themselves, they will understand and appreciate the value of handmade products more, said Mr. Tan.
Struggling to carve the motifs on a bamboo lamp, Mr. Vieri, a tourist from Italy, could not hide his amazement: "I am really relaxed when coming here. Because we can loose sticky rice, weave and create handmade products that can be used every day. In particular, the people who make these items are not only skillful but also have a wonderful love for bamboo.

Enhancing value, bringing the soul of Vietnamese bamboo to the world
To have sophisticated products, conquering even the most demanding customers, Mr. Vo Tan Tan Tan has spent many years researching and researching. Inheriting experience from his father and constantly learning, he has found a unique secret to treating bamboo. Bamboo shoots are selected to be 4-5 years old, then soaked in young mud and brackish water in Cam Thanh coconut forest for a year.
According to Mr. Tan, this process helps bamboo have natural bright colors, high durability and especially the ability to effectively fight termites, suitable for hot and humid climates. Thanks to the elaborate processing, the products of the Taboo factory can last a long time.
From the recycled bamboo trunks, with creative brains and talented hands, Mr. Tan and the craftsmen have created countless products, from cups, cups, sleeping lamps, small, beautiful household items to magnificent sculptures such as carp model, Dragon Bridge, or insects meticulously crafted down to every detail. Many products are worth up to tens of millions of VND, decorated by high-end hotels and resorts.
Not only bringing high economic value, Mr. Vo Tan Tan Tan's bamboo workshop also creates stable jobs for many local workers, contributing to keeping the traditional craft village on the decline.
