The Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of An Giang province said that on October 18, the Southern Traditional Bread Festival - An Giang in collaboration with the 2nd OCOP Tourism, Trade and Product Promotion Fair in 2025 will take place.
With the theme "An Giang Fragrance", the program will serve tourists and residents from October 18 to October 26, 2025 at Golden City Urban Area, Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province.
According to the Organizing Committee, the event aims to honor, preserve and promote the traditional culinary cultural values of the Southern region through typical folk cakes of the river region. Introduce and promote the image of the people, culture and tourism of An Giang, contributing to stimulating tourism, expanding the market for consumption of local typical products and OCOP products.
Create a space for exchange and cooperation between artisans, businesses and localities, promote trade, tourism, and investment, marking an important turning point in the socio-economic development of the region.
The festival will have a scale of more than 300 booths from provinces and cities, arranged into areas including: Area for performances and displays of folk cakes; Exhibition, introduction and promotion area for An Giang and other provinces and cities; Area for typical products and OCOP products of provinces and cities; Area for demonstrating typical regional culinary processing; General commercial area.
The festival is open to visitors from 8am to 10pm every day, with free admission. In addition, the event also combines side activities such as art performances, entertainment games, connecting trade between businesses, surveying tourist attractions...
The event is expected to become a unique cultural and tourism highlight of An Giang province, contributing to spreading the message of a dynamic, friendly An Giang, imbued with national cultural identity.
