According to Korean media, the Secretariat of the Baeksang Arts Awards announced: "The voting for the 61st Favorite Awards of the Baeksang Prism Arts Awards will take place until 4:00 p.m. on May 2".
Of the total 70 nominees (35 male and 35 female), those who received the most votes in each category will be selected. The nominees are individuals who have been nominated in the television and film category.
Among the male nominees, prominent names include Park Bo Gum (When Life Is for You), Byun Woo Seok (Running with You), Choo Young Woo (Trauma Center), Lee Jun Hyuk (Dongjae, Good or Bad) and announcer ax.
The female nominees include Song Hye Kyo (Dark Monk), Kim Go Eun (Two Lover Students), IU (When Life Is for a Banh Da), Kim Hye Yoon (C carrying You to Run), Kim Tae Ri (Jeongnyeon: Rising Star)...
The voting for the Most Favorite Award is held on the Prism application, a global retail media platform. Each account can deposit up to four free coupons per day, with the daily vote reset at midnight.
Last year, IVE's Kim Soo Hyun and Ahn Yu Jin won the Most Favorite Award. The total number of votes has exceeded 11 million, setting a record for the highest number of votes in the past three years.
The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards will take place on June 5 at 8:00 p.m. at COEX Hall D in Seoul. The ceremony will be broadcast live simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2 and JTBC4.
