The movie "Heavenly Paradise" approaches revenue of 100 billion VND

After the first days of theater release in 2026, the movie "Heavenly Paradise" quickly became the focus of attention in the Vietnamese box office.

According to data from Box Office Vietnam, the film continuously ranks in the group of Vietnamese works with the best revenue in the opening week, despite having to compete directly with the blockbuster foreign film Avatar 3.

This shows that the movie "Heaven of Blood" not only attracts audiences with domestic elements but also creates significant media momentum.

Currently, "Heaven of Blood" is considered one of the few Vietnamese films at the beginning of the year that chooses to approach topical social issues - technology fraud, cybercrime instead of familiar Tet comedy or family movies.

This "closely following reality" factor helps the film create curiosity and wide discussion, especially in the context that online scams are becoming social problems. This is an important advantage to help the film maintain a stable audience after the first week, instead of falling freely like some Vietnamese films before.

However, the possibility of reaching the 100 billion VND mark is still a big challenge for the film crew. To reach this milestone, the film needs to maintain steady revenue for at least another week, with an average of 5 billion VND per day. Meanwhile, the pressure from Avatar 3 - a work that is currently having good theater revenue, makes the growth space of the movie "Heaven of Blood" somewhat hindered.

Currently, this project has been released in theaters for 1 week and on the morning of January 6, the film is currently grossing 66 billion VND. The project is also holding the top 1 Vietnamese box office, surpassing some other Vietnamese films and far ahead of Thu Trang's movie "Ai thuong ai meen".

However, it can be seen that the ticket sales speed of 2026 New Year's Day film projects, including "Heaven of Blood", is not really outstanding. The time when the film had breakthrough revenue was about 12-13 billion VND/day. While some other films were noticed by audiences, buying tickets to watch in large numbers, and peak days' revenue could reach 20-25 billion VND/day.

Another factor that may make the revenue of "Heavenly Blood" still increase steadily but not break through is the mixed reaction of the audience. Besides praise for the message and efforts to exploit the difficult topic, the film also received many opinions that the script is still heavily illustrative, and the film's pace has not really exploded. This is a point that can directly affect the word-of-mouth effect - a key factor determining whether the film can accelerate or not in the later stages.

Even so, the movie "Heaven of Blood" is still considered to have a chance to approach the 100 billion VND mark, especially in the context of rare Vietnamese films maintaining the heat at the beginning of the year. The film also has many other plus points besides the topical factor of having a cast of famous stars participating.
